摘要: As erythromycin ototoxicity appears to be favored by renal insufficiency, its pharmacokinetics were assessed in chronic uremic patients treated maintenance hemodialysis comparison with normal subjects. Two groups of 8 each studied, the first one on an interdialytic day, second immediately after end session. All subjects ingested a single dose 1 gram ethylsuccinate. Times peak serum concentration and biological half-lifes similar controls. Maximum concentrations areas under time-curve higher than controls whereas apparent oral clearances lower former. The differences between two not significant. These pharmacokinetic changes are suggestive enhanced bioavailability failure which might predispose uremics drug.
