摘要: Abstract Metal concentrations (Hg, Cd, Pb, As, Cr, Cu, Zn and Ni) were measured in the liver of two fish, Torpedo nobiliana (electric ray) marmorata (marbled electric ray), from Mediterranean Sea order to comparatively investigate their current pollution status. Maximum mean levels Hg detected ray (mean: 2.16 μg g −1 ww), while marbled accumulated especially Cd 0.06 μg g Cu 3.83 μg g ww) As 32.64 μg g ww). The metal are similar those reported literature, except for Ni. increased with increasing fish body length both species, whilst no significant concentration–size relationship was found other metals. To best our knowledge this is first report providing information on trace between concentration size these cartilaginous fishes. Future studies effects environmental contaminants various torpedinid species surely needed.
