摘要: β-Lipotropin (β-LPH) has been localized in hypothalamus and pituitary of sheep ox by the immunoperoxidase technique. In both species β-LPH was found perikarya arcuate neurons as well cells anterior intermediate lobes pituitary. A large number immunoreactive axons were region; some appeared to innervate other others projected portal capillaries. Stained fiber segments also scattered throughout hypothalamus. The presence hypothalamic supports possibility that brain may be a precursor for opiate-like or peptides which involved neuromodulation neurohormonal activities.
