摘要: Post-translational protein modification by the covalent conjugation of ubiquitin, originally implicated as a signal for proteolytic degradation 26S proteasome, has now been realised to play important roles in regulation almost all biological processes eukaryotes. In order understand these greater detail there is requirement techniques that can purify mixtures ubiquitin-conjugated proteins, prerequisite their identification and characterisation. Here we review methods have applied bulk purification ubiquitinated proteins discuss applications proteomic analyses 'ubiquitome'.
