摘要: A patient presenting with polymyalgia rheumatica and biopsy-proved temporal arteritis showed response to corticosteroid therapy. Nodular pulmonary lesions developed twice, diplopia unilateral visual loss once, after reduction of the steroid dose. Response reinstitution full-dose steroids was dramatic. The clinical pathologic findings in this suggest that represented a previously undescribed manifestation giant cell arteritis, but possibility limited Wegener's granulomatosis involving artery could not be ruled out.
