摘要: Summary 1. Genetic variation within and among foundation plant species is known to affect arthropod, soil microbial communities. We hypothesized that the same would be expected for pathogen communities, which have typically been studied only as individual species. 2. In a common garden in Utah, USA, we first tested how genetic differences Populus angustifolia, P. fremontii their interspecific hybrid 9 hinckleyana fungal leaf community. Next, at level of hybrids communities wild, specifically natural hybridization zone (13 river km) throughout larger Weber River watershed (150 km). 3. garden, both significantly affected structure (i.e. abundances composition) also though not strongly was found environment. Stand-level density susceptible most zone. 4. Synthesis. Plant genotypic can local geographic distribution similar fashion other diverse organisms (e.g. arthropods, plants, microbes), relatively controlled environment wild.
