摘要: Scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) is increasingly applied to study and image live cells. Quantitative analyses of biological systems, however, still remain challenging. In the presented study, single human adenocarcinoma cervical cancer cells are electrochemically investigated by means SECM. The target cell’s response observed over time under influence green tea catechins (GTC), which suggested offer chemopreventive therapeutic effects on cancer. living measured experimentally quantified in an apparent heterogeneous rate constant using a numerical model, based forced convection during high speed SECM imaging. beneficial effect GTC could be confirmed SECM, shows alternative approach toward unraveling mechanisms involved inhibition carcinogenesis.
