摘要: If the song by international popstar Sting is to be relied upon, ‘History will teach us nothing’. At risk of contradicting a one-time schoolteacher, I believe reverse true for regenerative medicine. In fact, think we dismiss past at our peril. this review, aim trace history medicine date. examine parallels with other areas and show how commercial, technical socio/economic factors have influenced pace direction sector’s evolution. discuss how, learning from past, those involved in are reinventing their sector better. conclusion, evaluate current state industry, suggest what future may hold explain why about ‘come age’.
