Optical properties of rare earth ion (Nd3+, Er3+ and Tb3+)-doped alumina films prepared by the sol–gel method

摘要: Abstract Rare earth ion (Nd3+, Er3+ and Tb3+)-doped alumina films were prepared by the sol–gel method using aqueous sol. The effects of dopant concentration treatment temperature on optical properties, absorption emission examined for doped films. Alumina this gave a high (0–15 mol% per alumina). Significant quenching did not occur in range. emissions from 5D3 5D4 Tb3+-doped film reflected sensitively matrix environment around Tb3+ ions. Er3+- Nd3+-doped resonantly excited cw Ti–sapphire laser (800 nm) showed upconversion at room temperature. former 548 nm ( 4 S 3/2 → I 15/2 ) 640 F 9/2 11/2 signals, latter G 7/2 ), which dependent alumina.
