摘要: The Er3+-doped Al2O3 powders have been prepared by the non-aqueous sol–gel method using aluminum isopropoxide as precursor, acetylacetone chelating agent, nitric acid catalyzer, and hydrated erbium nitrate, dopant under isopropanol environment. phase structure transition of were investigated thermogravimetry/differential thermal analysis (TG/DTA), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD). contents diagram for Er-doped Al–O system with doping concentration up to 5 mol% was described at sintering temperature from 550 1250 °C. There three crystalline types phases, γ-, θ- α-(Al, Er)2O3, two relative stoichiometric compounds composed Al, Er, O, ErAlO3 Al10Er6O24 phases in Er–Al–O diagram. Er3+ suppressed crystallization γ θ delayed → α. increased elevated enhanced precipitation phases. preparation procedure process, including chelating, hydrolysis, peptization, gelation, has a significant effect on formation its powders.
