摘要: Mandibular angle osteotomy (MAO) and mandibular splitting (MASO) are the two main surgical approaches used to correct a square mandible for desirable aesthetic appearance. However, there concerns about safety accuracy of both procedures as they may lead unsatisfactory results such injury nerve. To achieve symmetry security we designed evaluated 3-dimensional printed template, which indicates outer cortex line MASO, curved cutting MAO. We operated on 11 patients who had been diagnosed with broad mandibles using assisted template. The mean duration osteotomy, degree numbness inferior alveolar nerve, reduction in width (Go-Go) were recorded. curve before after operation was fitted evaluate its accuracy. showed that nerve reduced, no significant difference between simulation postoperatively. (SD) 15.2 (1.6)mm. template facilitated procedures.
