摘要: The activities of the enzymes α- and β-glucosidase, leucine aminopeptidase were measured in cultures dinoflagellate Prorocentrum minimum (Pavill.) J. Schiller field samples collected during blooms occurring tributaries Chesapeake Bay, Maryland, USA. Activities using fluorogenic artificial substrates partitioned among >5 μm size fraction, small microbes fraction (0.1-5 μm), dissolved phase ( 5 μm thus can be separated from which contains most bacteria. Little to no glucosidase activity was detected associated with or samples, (67% 93% cultures, 54% 100% samples) for both α β glucosidase. In contrast, 67% 90% total (LAP) fraction. Within a culture, LAP containing P. decreased response ammonium urea additions, but not nitrate. positively correlated abundance chl a, negatively concentration. During blooms, up 34% indicating that when abundant, dinoflagellates may make substantial contribution ectocellular water column.
