摘要: Abstract To achieve highly transparent CeF 3 scintillation ceramics for high-energy physics applications, a grain-oriented structure, which could be obtained by slip-casting process assisted strong magnetic field, was necessary to decrease the birefringence effects caused hexagonal phase structure. The preparation of well-dispersed suspensions, is key factor grain-orientation, studied in this paper, and factors that influenced dispersing property including properties raw powders, pH suspension amount dispersant, were also discussed. Optimized experimental parameters screened out comparing viscosity suspensions used prepare suspensions. resulting then slip-cast under field 9 T align particles. X-ray diffraction (XRD) results indicate after sintering at 950 °C vacuum 3 h, with calculated Lotgering f 94.35%, compared 3.67% sample without field.
