摘要: BACKGROUND: We sought to determine how often P-glycoprotein is involved in the drug-resistance of urothelial cancer, and whether MDR1 gene expression correlated with tumor grade, invasiveness, or metastasis. METHODS: Forty-two specimens two normal bladder mucosal samples obtained from 34 cancer patients were analyzed. Reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction conducted. mRNA levels determined by measuring relative ratio beta-2-microglobulin (b2 m) specific PCR products. RESULTS: The MDR1/b2 m 0.044 0.045. For untreated primary tumors, 46% less than that urothelium, while 27% showed a more 0.1. There was no statistical correlation between level stage, metastatic status. higher lymph node metastasis almost equal expressions more. significant difference mean postchemotherapy tumors. A remarkable elevation (15 times greater prechemotherapy) found one tumor; multidrug resistance-associated protein (MRP) gene, glutathione S-transferase pi (GST-pi) DNA topoisomerase II (topo II) did not increase. CONCLUSIONS: It still unclear cells inducible current combination chemotherapy regimens. RT-PCR quantitation useful for determining cancer.
