摘要: The detailed histological findings of 728 melanoma patients treated at Frenchay Hospital during the period 1967 to 1978 have been fully reviewed and analysed. Of these, 75 with lesions less than 0.76 mm thick 15 greater 0.75 0.85 identified using a computerised data base. general practitioners all in series approached clinical histories found nearly every case (69/75 15/15) thus providing follow-up 5 17 years. A number fatal melanomata these two groups. histopathological features related known prognosis an attempt characterise lethal lesions. No statistically significant relationship could be between any feature, including specifically amount regression within lesion. However, it was that assessment ratio uninvolved dermis beneath tumour thickness itself might prove helpful future evaluation.
