摘要: A microstructurally based model for soft biological tissues was adapted to the non-linear response of collagenous network in skin. Quasi-static uniaxial tensile tests were conducted on dorsal skin rats aged 1–4 months. Specimens taken longitudinally and transversely (laterally) spine tested at 1.5% s−1. The showed fiber stiffness increase laterally during maturation be greater than longitudinally. It also indicated migration ‘heel’ portion curve toward origin due less crimping fibers. These results qualitatively supported by microscopical observations. found well suited fit curves exhibiting a well-defined region. For more flat, featureless region (typical 1 month longitudinal specimens) not suited. this study indicate that simple three-parameter might useful tool future studies analyze pathological changes microstructure.
