摘要: Abstract This study examines the strength of SiC composite ceramics according to surface roughness. If can obtain high without mirror polishing, then machine cost be decreased. In addition, non-polished and polished smooth specimens which are at each grinding condition were heat treated a healing temperature 1373 K for 1–10 h. Strength investigates relationships between treatment time The specimen increased after treatment, but cracks weren’t completely. Besides, has reached saturation point any time. Surface roughness affects bending strengths, depends on with below 4 μm recovered same as that polishing in 1 h. result shows defects by machining healed within limits
