摘要: Dynamic spectrum access has been a subject of extensive research activity in recent years. The increasing volume literature calls for deeper understanding the characteristics current utilization. In this paper we present detailed measurement study, with data collected 20MHz to 3GHz band and at four locations concurrently South China. We examine first second order statistics data, including channel occupancy/vacancy statistics, utilization within each individual wireless service, temporal, spectral, spatial correlation these measures. Main findings include that vacancy durations follow an exponential-like distribution, but are not independently distributed over time, significant spectral correlations found between channels same service. then exploit such develop 2-dimensional frequent pattern mining algorithm can accurately predict availability based on past observations.
