摘要: Living anionic polymerization of methyl methacrylate can be achieved at −40 °C in tetrahydrofuran (THF) and −78 toluene/THF (9/1 v/v) using (1,1-diphenylhexyl)lithium as the initiator presence lithium perchlorate (LiClO4) additive. Polymerization tert-butyl acrylate also proceeds a living manner oC THF. Polymers with narrow molecular weight distributions high efficiencies obtained. The use retards rate polymerization. ratio LiClO4 to has greater influence determining control beneficial effect is attributed its efficient interaction growing ester−enolate ion pairs.
