摘要: An overview is given about the history of a conflict-laden relationship between Eurasian otters (Lutra lutra) and humans in Saxony for more than 100 years. The development conflict described front background otter persecution, population development, social economical factors as well legal instruments four historical time periods with different societal conditions that framed people’s thoughts actions. period from 1990 up to presence was specifically investigated part FRAP project. Here we made detailed analysis ecological, economic, legal, institutional elaborate contributed successful reconciliation.
