Synthesis of high-edge exposure MoS2 nano flakes

摘要: Highly oriented edge exposure MoS2 nano flakes were successfully synthesized via reaction between MoO3 powder and S vapor at 700 °C for 2 h. The received characterized with SEM, TEM/HR-TEM, Raman spectroscopy, XRD. TEM result shows that are ~100 nm in diameter compose of <10 layers (<5 nm). XRD HR-TEM also prove prepared highly crystallized typical honeycomb structure.
