摘要: Abstract This novel investigation focused on studying the transfer of explosive residues (TNT, HMTD, PETN, ANFO, dynamite, black powder, NH4NO3, KNO3, NaClO3) in ten consecutive fingerprints to two different surfaces – cotton fabric and polycarbonate plastic by using multispectral imaging (MSI). Imaging was performed employing a reflex camera purpose-built photo studio. Images were processed MATLAB select most discriminating frame one that provided sharpest contrast between material red-green-blue (RGB) visible region. The amount transferred each fingerprint determined as number pixels containing particles. First, pattern PETN persons successive studied. No significant differences subjects observed, which also confirmed multivariate analysis variance (MANOVA). Then, traces nine above explosives investigated. obtained results demonstrated deposited tended undergo power or exponential decrease, with exception inorganic salts (NH4NO3, ANFO (consists 90% NH4NO3).
