摘要: A central component of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is the teaching specific behavioral skills with aim helping individuals Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) replace maladaptive behaviors skillful behavior. Although existing evidence indirectly supports this proposed mechanism action, no study to date has directly tested it. Therefore, we examined use 108 women BPD participating in one three randomized control trials throughout year treatment and four months follow-up. Using a hierarchical linear modeling approach found that although all participants reported using some DBT before started, treated times more at end than treatment. Significant mediation effects also indicated fully mediated decrease suicide attempts depression increase anger over time. partially nonsuicidal self-injury Anger suppression expression were not mediated. This first clearly support deficit model for by indicating increasing change suicidal behavior, depression, control.
