摘要: A number of serological tests measuring the presence Helicobacter pylori-specific serum immunoglobulin G (IgG) are now commercially available. The aim this study was to evaluate clinical accuracy five commercial H. pylori antibody tests: GAP-IgG (Biomerica), HELpTEST (AMRAD, Kew, Victoria, Australia), HELICO-G (Porton Cambridge), Pyloriset (Orion Diagnostica), and ROCHE (Roche Diagnostics). total 162 subjects presenting for routine upper endoscopy were studied. diagnosed if culture, histology, or both positive. Ten milliliters venous blood collected at time assessment. sensitivity specificity each test (GAP-IgG, HELpTEST, HELICO-G, Pyloriset, ROCHE) as follows: 83 79%, 92 77%, 86 65%, 89 56%, 98 69%, respectively. Positive negative predictive values 97 83%, 90 91%, 76 68 84%, 97%, most increased by approximately 10% when sera from less than 45 years old examined. falling into grey zone (an indeterminate result with respect status) varied between 2.5 19%. This highlights need all kits be independently evaluated on population studied testing against a microbiologically defined panel pylori-positive -negative sera.
