摘要: The maize Activator/Dissociation (Ac/Ds) transposable element system was introduced into sugar beet. autonomous Ac and non-autonomous Ds excise from the T-DNA vector integrate at novel positions in beet genome. excisions generate footprints donor that support hairpin model for transposon excision. Two complete integration events genomic DNA were obtained by IPCR. Integration of leads to an eight bp duplication, while a homologue flowering locus gene did not induce duplication. molecular structure target site indicates double strand break. Analyses transposase transcription using RT–PCR revealed low amounts alternatively spliced mRNAs. fourth intron found be partially misspliced. Four different splice products identified. In addition, second third exon harbour two three introns, respectively. These utilize each same but several alternative acceptor sites. Using SplicePredictor online tool, one introns within is predicted efficiently maize. Most interestingly, splicing this together with four major would lacks binding domain its nuclear localization signals, still harbours dimerization domain.
