摘要: We determined the embryonic origins of adult forebrain subventricular zone (SVZ) stem cells by Cre-lox fate mapping in transgenic mice. found that all parts telencephalic neuroepithelium, including medial ganglionic eminence and lateral (LGE) cerebral cortex, contribute multipotent, self-renewing to SVZ. Descendants LGE cortex settle ventral dorsal aspects dorsolateral SVZ, respectively. Both populations new (5-bromo-2'-deoxyuridine-labeled) tyrosine hydroxylase- calretinin-positive interneurons olfactory bulb. However, calbindin-positive glomeruli were generated exclusively LGE-derived cells. Thus, different SVZ have origins, colonize generate neuronal progeny, suggesting some patterning are preserved This could important implications for design endogenous cell-based therapies future.
