摘要: Abstract The goal of the current investigation was to develop and validate a measure assess an individual's eating-related behaviors related alcohol consumption, specifically intended compensate for calories so that more could be consumed or restrict enhance psychoactive effects consumption. Two hundred seventy four undergraduate students ( n = 51 males; 75.2% Caucasian) completed newly developed scale, Compensatory Eating Behaviors in Response Alcohol Consumption Scale (CEBRACS), along with measures eating restriction, bulimia, body dissatisfaction. An exploratory factor analysis on CEBRACS revealed existence 4 clear-cut factors: effects, dieting exercise, restriction. Internal consistency statistics all subscales ranged from .79 .95. Pearson product–moment correlations between dissatisfaction .04 .44. T-tests no gender differences compensatory behaviors. Future research directions limitations study are discussed.
