摘要: Cardiac contusion is a potentially fatal complication of blunt chest trauma. The effects combination quercetin and methylprednisolone against trauma-induced cardiac were studied. Thirty-five female Sprague-Dawley rats divided into five groups (n=7) as follows: sham, with no therapy, treated (30 mg/kg on the first day, 3 following days), (50 mg·kg−1·day−1), quercetin. Serum troponin I (Tn-I) tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) levels histopathological findings evaluated. Tn-I TNF-α elevated after (P=0.001 P=0.001). Seven days later, decreased in methylprednisolone, quercetin, compared to without but statistical significance was found only therapy P=0.011, respectively). Histopathological degeneration scores statistically lower group (P=0.017 P=0.007, However, (P=0.017). Inducible nitric oxide synthase positivity all treatment untreated (P=0.097, P=0.026, P=0.004, We conclude that can be used for specific contusion.
