摘要: Calcitonin was measured in four patients with acute pancreatitis hypocalcemia. A marked elevation of this hormone noted each case and persisted over several days. The peak level calcitonin preceded the maximum fall calcium. Among various factors affecting calcium balance pancreatitis, probably plays an important role.
