摘要: This paper investigate the effect of unleaded Gasoline-higher alcohol blends on performance characteristic single cylinder four stroke Spark Ignition engine at variable compression ratio. Performance tests were conducted ratio constant speed around 2800 rpm. with various like gasoline 5% ethanol (E5), 10% (E10), propanol (Pr5), with10% (Pr10), butanol(B5), 10%butanol (B10), 5%pentanol (P5), pentanol (P10) and Gasoline (E0). characteristics Break Specific Fuel Consumption Thermal efficiency calculated compared E10 Gasoline. The result showed that 10%vol ethanol-gasoline gave best for all measured parameters.
