摘要: The growing demand for biotechnological products against limited metabolic capacity of industrially used microorganisms has led to an increased interest on strain-improvement over the last several decades, which aimed enhance metabolite yield, substrate uptake and tolerance strains. Among a few techniques strain-improvement, genome shuffling is most recent promising approach rapid that can yield new strain by combining whole genomes multi-parental using principles protoplast fusion. Genome brought major breakthrough in concept as it found be effective reliable expressing complex phenotypes. This review will discuss technical aspects applications various industrial strains present its current status progress. In concluding remarks, summary presented focusing challenges future outlooks this technology.
