摘要: Abstract The effects of topical application neutral formaldehyde (1%) and intracameral administration calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP, 0·5- or 2·0μg) on the intraocular pressure (IOP), blood-aqueous barrier, pupil size, blood cyclic AMP (cAMP) content in aqueous humour a rabbit were studied. Topical chemical irritation with 1% caused typical irritative response eye rise IOP, breakdown barrier miosis. cAMP was also increased (88·5 ± 35·0 pmol ml−1, P CGRP seems to cause most, but not all, ocular changes after sensory nerve stimulation elicited by formaldehyde. Of these CGRP-induced changes, only is related an increase humour. Contralateral responses similar contralateral CGRP.
