摘要: A method is proposed for determining the line tension, which main physical characteristic of a three-phase contact region, by Monte Carlo (MC) simulations. The key idea that if equilibrium involves probability distribution states system as function two order parameters depends not only on surface but also tension. This can be obtained normalized histogram appropriate MC simulations, so one use combination analysis and finite-size scaling to study properties three phase region. Every results extracted therefrom will depend size simulated system. Carrying out simulations series sizes extrapolating results, from corresponding histograms, infinite size, determine tension region interfacial te...
