A computer model of comprehensive modeling of the laser time-of-flight analyzer.

摘要: This article offers a new approach to computer modeling of time-of-flight analyzers mass spectrometers. The main feature the model is comprehensive tracking processes from laser plasma generation until final stage, on which isotopic or elemental composition determined for analyzed solid sample. Apart usual models based SIMION-8 3D similar software, this proposes fundamentally stages. These stages are (1) and spread plasma, (2) formation ion packages, (3) detection, (4) processing analytical signals. In order provide consistent all stages, special software units were developed. Program control analyzer optics (electrodes voltages) allows scan spectra by energy. Additional complex programs provides simulation digitization, summation digitized wide range variable parameters, consideration discriminatory effects. According data, calculates ion-optical characteristics parameters measurement results.
