摘要: Using reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction amplification it was possible to detect the presence of type 1 human estrogen sulfotransferase (hEST1) mRNA in hormone-dependent: MCF-7 and T-47D, hormone-independent: MDA-MB-231 MDA-MB-468, breast cancer cells. The expression this is significantly higher MDA-MB-468 cells a correlation with enzymatic activity observed. progestin promegestone (R-5020) at low concentration (5 x 10(-7) M) can increase its hormone-dependent T-47D As sulfates are biologically inactive, stimulatory effect on by may open attractive possibilities control estradiol cancer.
