摘要: We have used the rat C6 glial cell line as a model system to study role of insulin-like growth factors (IGF) in neuroglial cells central nervous (CNS). Northern blot analysis RNA demonstrated presence IGF-I mRNA and undetectable IGF-II mRNA. IGF-binding protein (s), but not IGF-II, were detected cell-conditioned medium. The level was 1-4 ng/ml conditioned medium based on human standard. immunoreactive inhibited [125I] binding receptor chick embryo fibroblasts stimulated [3H] thymidine incorporation into fibroblast DNA.
