Sero-epidemiology of avian influenza virus in native chicken in Bangladesh

摘要: Sero-epidemiological investigation was carried out to determine avian influenza virus in native chickens at Dagonbhuyian, Feni district Bangladesh. A total of 224 sera samples were collected from the key beneficiaries during monsoon, winter and summer seasons. All examined for detection antibodies Avian by indirect enzyme linked Immunosorbant assay using commercially available Kits. The seroprevalence found 25% Ram Nagar union, 14.28% Matubhuyian 0% Rajapur union Jaylashker union. overall recorded 9.82%. Sero-epidemiology relation seasonal variation also study areas it 14.45% 3.70% 11.67% season. exhibited higher prevalence hens (10.83%) than cocks (8.65%). revealed highest (12.80%) birds > 34 weeks age group lowest (3.13%) 8-16 age. However, Quick antigen kit identification did not show positive results virological study.
