摘要: This paper reports on the development of a model for assessing transitions to sustainable mobility. The uses concepts transition theory as framework possible pathways by which mobility society might happen. modelling approach combines agent-based techniques with system dynamics structure. It is original in that there are two levels agent. There small number complex agents, have an internal structure and therefore subsystems within society, larger simple agents. Based UK data, results show Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles (FCVs) come dominate, but only very long run (after 2030), while biofuels ICE (Internal Combustion Engine)-electric hybrids main alternatives regime next 10–30 years, because a) they already developed b) fit better into current infrastructures. shows technological most likely. Lifestyle change require sustained pressure from environment behavioural consumers.
