Traditional Achievement Values and Fear of Success in a Hearing-Impaired Population: A Disappearing Phenomenon

摘要: Two research projects designed to measure hearing-impaired college students' reactions a successful stimulus person and traditional views about men women were conducted. The results of Study 1 indicated that subjects responded with stereotypic notions female person. However, personality variable, Success Approach, is an important moderator this tendency. In 2, males showed signifi- cantly higher values achievement than females. Other findings are discussed.
