摘要: Abstract The newly minted ‘Handbook of Environmental Psychology’ is much stronger in the area social psychology than it perception and psychophysics. While several chapters acknowledge influence these older fields experimental psychology, important historical roots are scarcely noted guidelines for future interleaving theory application not explored. We present a thesis environmental psychophysics that emphasizes bidirectional interaction between field laboratory practice, advantages accruing from viewing both science as inextricable parts larger research picture. value implications our illustrated through discussion two recent case studies: cognitive mapping sick building syndrome.
