摘要: In specialized literature, reports on anatomy of miners in host plants are few number. These agents trigger excavations, or paths, by consumption plant inner tissues larvae several insects. The aim this work was to investigate leaf miner occurrence Commelina diffusa (a cosmopolitan plant) and Floscopa glabrata (an amphibious using anatomical techniques. place where the were collected is subjected seasonal floods, consequently both species exposed same weather conditions floods. This study showed that members Agromyzidae Chironomidae families, which Diptera endophytophagous types, responsible for tunnels. Moreover, found, while three cephalic exuviae found. miners, as can be seen from studies, used only mesophyll parenchyma feeding, causing formation linear mines. addition, species, epidermis medium-sized vascular units kept intact, showing no structural modification, such neoformation tissues.
