摘要: Previous studies using a variety of techniques have shown that in normal myelinated fibres there are structural differences between the axon membrane at nodes Ranvier and internodes beneath myelin sheath. The present paper reports results cytochemical study on amyelinated axons dy/dy dystrophic mice, which myelination is focally absent owing to genetic defect. indicate membrane, known be capable sustaining continuous impulse conduction, structurally different from nodal membrane. Comparison with physiological pharmacological data suggests may exhibit lower sodium channel density than
