Factors associated with exclusive breastfeeding in the first six months of life in Brazil: a systematic review

摘要: ABSTRACT OBJECTIVE To identify factors associated with exclusive breastfeeding in the first six months of life Brazil. METHODS Systematic review epidemiological studies conducted Brazil as outcome. Medline and LILACS databases were used. After selection articles, a hierarchical theoretical model was proposed according to proximity variable RESULTS Of 67 articles identified, we selected 20 cross-sectional seven cohort studies, between 1998 2010, comprising 77,866 children. We identified 36 breastfeeding, being more often distal factors: place residence, maternal age education, proximal labor, child, use pacifier, financing primary health care. CONCLUSIONS The developed may contribute future research, subsidize public policies on nutrition.
