摘要: We present a new approach to measure the mass function of dark matter halos and discriminate models with differing values Ω through weak gravitational lensing. distribution peaks from simulated lensing surveys show that signal due can be detected for wide range peak heights. Even when signal-to-noise ratio is well below limit detection individual halos, projected halo statistics constrained masses spanning galactic cluster halos. The use relies on an analytical model noise intrinsic ellipticities source galaxies. has been shown accurately describe data variety input ellipticity distributions. measured distinct signatures lensing, its non-Gaussian shape used distinguish different Ω. complementary measurement field statistics, such as correlation function, possibly not susceptible same systematic errors.
