摘要: We report a newmeasurement of the 8Li half-life using plastic scintillator and an ultrafastwaveform digitizing module. The result, T1/2 = (838.40 ± 0.36) ms, improves by factor 2.5 most precise result obtained so far is furthermore deduced with negligible corrections due to dead time.
