Investigation of the external-magnetic-field dependence of polarization transfer in a 8 Li- 6 Li disordered nuclear system

摘要: Random walks in disorderedmedia are studied by considering the example of delocalization nuclear polarization an ensemble 8Li beta-active nuclei produced (n, γ) reactions induced polarized thermal neutrons LiF single crystals. The process is initiated magnetic dipole-dipole interactions. It consists transfer from a primarily nucleus to closest (stable) 6Li and subsequent polarizationmigration over nuclei, return question being possible. In order obtain information about asymmetry beta radiation them was measured with respect external field H0. until it reached diffusion asymptotic regime. concentration varied between 3% 10%, while strength H0 changed 200 1200 G. shown that microscopic theory satisfactory agreement experimental results obtained way outlined above. A comparison investigation mathematically allied Forster electricdipole localized excitons performed.
