摘要: Barium sulfate suspension has passed through the wall of intestinal tract during a barium enema study when perforation been present. Opaque material from uterus on occasion entered into pelvic veins hysterosalpingography. The passage mucosa colon venous system is, however, medical curiosity. A careful search literature revealed only one report entering veins. This occurred course in patient with ulcerative colitis, resulting liver abscess (1). In case to be reported here no grossly demonstrable lesion existed. rectum and thence lungs, immediate fatality.
