摘要: In adults, the introduction of a pre-response delay has been shown to affect accuracy in pointing tasks while leaving perceptual matching unaffected. Here, we report on effect pre-movement delays 6–10-year-old children. Children this age group are particular interest as their reliance visual cues monitor and correct reaches appears change during period development. Nineteen children were asked point location target light after 0, 1, 2, or 4 s following extinction. Performance was measured two conditions: (i) open-loop, where child reproduced locations complete darkness, (ii) with feedback, information about hand position available. Errors direction amplitude each reaching movement recorded separately. The results show that temporal significantly affects movements these Accuracy (mean) deteriorated ...
