摘要: The stress response is regulated by the mineralocorticoid receptor (MR) and glucocorticoid (GR). When balance between GR MR signalling disturbed, one's capacity to cope with a stressful event diminished. In this pilot study, we tested hypothesis that an interaction common variants in (rs5522) or gene (rs41423247) life events influences perfectionism levels group of patients eating disorder (ED; n = 113). Patients carrying minor G allele rs5522 had higher score if more were experienced [β = 0.95, t(109) = 3.75, p < 0.01]. This effect was not found for AA genotype. These results suggest carriers might be vulnerable events. ED are experience multiple events, fuel their insecurity, which turn may engender perfectionism. Further studies necessary replicate expand our findings. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd Eating Disorders Association.
