摘要: A fluorescence high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method was developed to separate and quantify maleic hydrazide (MH) in potatoes onions. Methanol used as the extraction solvent. 3-mL aliquot of extract dried under nitrogen residue reconstituted water by sonication. The fraction passed through a C18 solid phase (SPE) tube remove interfering compounds. Onions fortified from 2.5 20 ppm showed percent recoveries ranging 66 94. Within-day between-day reproducibility studies run at 2.5, 5.0, 10.0, 15.0, 20.0 indicated procedure reproducible yielding coefficients variation (%CV's) 1.3 10. limit detection 0.5 ppm. comparison made between this HPLC capillary electrophoresis (CE) method. linear regression for MH y = 0.816x + 1.071 with correlation coefficient 0.878.
